VONNEGUT HARDWARE
Vonnegut Hardware is an Indianapolis indie rock / alt group with roots in the punk / hxc scene in the tradition of Indy’s emo trailblazers Chamberlain and many others. Featuring members of a number of notable Indana bands like Maravich, Apostles of Solitude, Giraffes Eating Lions, Penny Royalty, Blue Sky Goodbye, Jim Fix and more, the band brings decades of teeth cutting in the punk, hxc and metal scenes. Started as the solo project of lead singer and songwriter Jim Rawlinson, the group became a full band in 2020, before taking an unexpected hiatus due to a small global pandemic. In 2022 the band recorded their first demo EP at Postal Recording, and they plan for multiple releases with Radio Cake Records throughout 2023 and 2024.
